Doran and Muth Mirror Systems introduce Signal Mirror kits with integrated “low tire” LED warning light for Honda Gold Wing motorcycles

Cincinnati, Ohio - Doran Manufacturing is pleased to announce the release and availability of the aftermarket Muth Mirror kits with LED “Low Tire” indicator light and turn signals for Honda Gold Wing motorcycles.

The Muth mirror kit utilizes a built-in remote warning light adapter port on the Doran 360M™ TPMS monitor to connect the mirror to the tire pressure monitoring system. When a low pressure alarm is triggered the “Low Tire” indicator light will flash on the mirror to alert the rider.

“We have experienced steady growth and acceptance for Doran’s 360M™ tire pressure monitoring systems for motorcycles and trikes over the past five years.” said Jim Samocki (General Manager – Doran Manufacturing). “Muth is the leader in Signal® Mirror units and their world-class quality combined with the simple installation of their mirror kits and the high visibility of the LED indicator lights made it a natural to integrate with Doran’s tire pressure monitoring systems for motorcycles.”

“Based on Muth’s focus on mirror-based LED safety technology and the reliable performance of Doran’s TPMS for motorcycles, creating an integrated kit for Muth’s Signal Mirror units with Doran’s tire pressure monitoring system fit extremely well with both companies’ dedication and commitment to innovation and safety.” Said Jason Rockey (General Manager: Sales and Marketing – Muth Mirror Systems). “We are very excited about working with Doran to help riders become more aware of low tire pressures on their motorcycles and to help improve their safety.”

The Doran 360M™ tire pressure monitoring systems use sensors on each wheel position which can be installed outside or inside the tire using Doran’s patented valve stems. The Doran display is programmed to monitor the pressure in each tire and will provide a visible and audible warning when a tire pressure alarm is activated. Using the Muth Mirror Signal Unit kit provides an additional level of safety for the rider by flashing a “Low Tire” LED light on the right side mirror. There are four mirror kits available for purchase from Doran that can be installed on Honda Gold Wings dating back to model year 2001 with either blue or chrome glass and red or amber LED turn signal lights.
